Research papers are accepted in Russian or English as Microsoft Word files. The recommended length is 10,000–30,000 characters including spaces, the abstract and references.

For authors

Manuscript preparation guidelines

Manuscripts must present original research findings, match the conference scope and comply with the requirements of the journal System Technologies. All submissions undergo editorial screening and peer review.

Conference abstract: 1–2 pages; submission deadline: 25 October 2026.

Core formatting

  • Microsoft Word file: .doc or .docx.
  • Length: 10,000–30,000 characters including spaces.
  • Times New Roman, 14 pt; 1.5 line spacing.
  • Margins: 2 cm; first-line indent: 1.25 cm; justified text.
  • Title: bold uppercase, centred.
  • Equations and mathematical symbols: 12 pt.

Manuscript structure

  1. UDC code and author details, including ORCID and email.
  2. Title, a 150–250-word abstract and 5–10 keywords.
  3. Introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion and conclusion.
  4. Reference list.
  5. Author details, title, abstract and keywords in English.
Submission conditions

The work must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere. All co-authors must approve the final version. Authors are responsible for data accuracy, correct citation, institutional approvals and lawful use of figures, tables, photographs and other materials.

Tables, figures and equations

Each table must be numbered and have a title above it; each figure must be numbered and have a caption below it. Every table, figure and equation must be cited in the text. Illustrations must be clear and publication-ready. Sources and rights must be stated for third-party materials.

Citations and references

References are listed in order of first citation. In-text citations use square brackets: [1], [2, 3], [4–6]. Include only cited sources and retain their original language. DOI should be supplied for journal articles where available. The reference list must contain at least 20 sources.

Conflicts of interest and artificial intelligence

Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest; if none exists, state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.” Any use of generative AI for text, translation, images, code, literature searching or data processing must also be disclosed. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and the authors remain fully responsible for all content.

Peer review and open access

After editorial screening, eligible manuscripts are sent for peer review. The editors may request explanations, source data or external reviews. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. The published version may be deposited on non-commercial resources with a complete citation to the original publication.
